So C: I totally used reference for this one XD and textures amenokitarou.deviantart.com/ar… <--pose ref
This is my character Jasper, my original so no touchy please , and I wanted to practice digi drawing, and textures, and draw Jasper so this is how this piece was born XD.
He is looking up at his ceiling window that lets in some morning light. (which lets you know he is late sleeper, that stinker) Ive never worked with digital textures before, or weird lighting like this so I hope I did okay!
Paint tool sai ^^

Jasper!! I love the way you rendered his facial expression, it's a sort of mixture between nonchalant admiration of the morning and a sort of contemplation. Great job capturing so much personality in the most subtle ways, the way his lips are parted and slightly tilted to the side in an almost imperceivable half-smile that seems to be reflected with a sort of humour in his beautifully shaded and glossed eyes (the light reflects so realistically off of his iris and the thin film of moisture over the eye!). Wonderful shading/blending overall, I might add (his shadowed abdomen versus his illuminated chest complement each other perfectly, the tone of the marble (that is marble, right?...I know not my stones) accentuating the gold of the sunlight. His eyebrows are so precisely drawn, halfway between a collective "eyebrow" and a blonde arch of fine hairs. I respect your nose, as I can't draw noses at all and especially not from this angle. Beautiful job as always : )
